Here is the second song of my "it was only an autumn tale EP" called "hiraeth", which means "homesickness for a home to which you cannot return". Since the EP consists of 4 tracks, I will upload a video every day until Friday. 😃

Since my "the last summer like this EP" was a great success and I really enjoyed producing it, I will release a new 4 song EP for every season of the year. All songs on this EP's are all instrumentals without any vocals, just beautiful and heart-aching melodies with melancholic/nostalgic atmospheres...

It's funny... today I think I realized that autumn might be my favourite season. A panic attack bubbled up at my therapy session, with the instant urge to flee I realized the moment I left the building and was breathing the autumn air that I felt better! The weather on this particular day was absolutely beautiful. The sun was already setting, the sky was tinged in reds and oranges. So on my way home, I was driving my bike through all these fallen and still falling leaves. Having had my mum by my side and feeling the crisp and refreshing air on my face and in my lungs, I was so sure of myself that I will be okay...
And now getting home, sitting at my computer and hearing this song, it is like reliving those exact moments.
When I close my eyes I can see myself riding that beautiful - sad road again. A piece of nostalgia now, I will remember this one more than the others! Thank you Kayou!
