1. Your SIGG bottle includes a round edged thread that will NEVER leak. These round edges also protect children from getting hurt in case they decide to put their tongues inside (some did)…please do not try! The thread is coated, meaning no metallic taste whilst drinking.

2. Talking about metallic taste, we use a polyester based protective coating (similar to the ones used in food and drink cans) throughout the whole bottle, which prevents your drink developing any weird taste. It also stops the bottle from developing a funky smell!

3. Do you see those thin walls? well..thin and light doesn’t mean weak. We are talking about the best weight-strength ratio in the market for any water bottle. We even threw it out of the window (of course full of water) to test our own words and it passed the stress test!

+SIGG Switzerland Nice video. I am here because my bottle's got a dent and I've just pulled a piece of liner from my mouth. Granted, that dent is there for months, but maybe that's the problem of your testing. You don't consider any aging effect. I have never washed it with hot water, never had anything other than water in it and I've always treated the bottle with the highest respect. I wanted to buy an eco friendly long-lasting product and I am quite dissapointed, because there's no way I am drinking out of this bottle again. What do you say, SIGG?

My kid's bottle has a few dents but they are not huge. However, yesterday my kid complained that he had something strange in his mouth while drinking from his bottle. Luckily he didn't swallowed it but he pulled a piece of liner from his mouth.

I have never used the bottle for anything but cold tap water. I've always hand washed it and let it dry when not in use. I had expected to have an Eco-friendly durable product and I am quite disappointed to discover the bottle lasted only a bit more that 2 years. I have another SiGG bottle which I bought recently and now I wonder if it will last longer than 2 years. It's quite a disappointment as the SiGGs bottles are not cheap.

I have had a dent in mine for a few months and my bottle now has a very metallic taste and smell to it. Where the dent is there is a large dark spot (it almost look grey when I shine a light in), and it is all rippled. It looks like when water gets behind paint. Im assuming this means the liner is gone?

Time for a new one?

i am very sad, when dents occur on such nice bottles. Can you produce more durable alloy? I understand that durable tough alloy needs high presure to producent (press) bottle. Bottles made of steel are welded from sheet metal.
Your bottles are very light, nice. I have to care them like full of nitroglycerine....i hate dents on them
