With few ambitions, most people allowed efficient machines to perform everyday tasks for them. Gradually, humans ceased to think, or dream... or truly live

There will be a plethora of jobs created by AI but they will be only a specific type of job which not everybody will be able to do. We are slowly killing the regular jobs that keeps the world turning.

I think it is respectful and nice to let mr Lecun introduce himself. the importance of the interview with the Chief Scientist shouold be twofold: 1. What is Meta's position on AI research as a company seeking to gain market share for stock holders, and 2. How does Meta stand up to the dangers posed by AI either by intention, or by unintention consequences.. Mr Stebbings succeeded in point #1. and in point #2 he was primarily focusing on threats to jobs. This point was not really developed beyond a superficial llevel, Mr. Stebbings could have asked about the dangers posed by the Proceedings of Machine Learning Research 2018, "Gender Shades: Interacctional Accuracy Disparaties, Commercial Gender Classification by Joy Boulamuini, and Temnit Gebru.

Well, a whole department in middle management at a company I know was laid off because of AI. Wiped the whole thing out overnight. Yan has a real hit or miss track record, just like every AI expert. And of course his job isn't in danger.

Less than 1% of people “make a living” being an influencer. The comparison is ludicrous.

I wonder how much preparation went into this intyerviw? I say the because I was disappointed in the lack of posing challenging "hypotheticals". I mean no one including Meta's chief Scentist, knows what the future will be. His are just as much bassed on biases, and misconceptiions and lack of information as any of the other speakers on the effects of AI

We’re not worried about a lack of problems to solve people are worried about the need for HUMANS to solve them!! AIA = Artificial Intelligence Agents.

Let's imagine robots in 15 years are stronger, smarter, more dexterous, and cheaper than a human to do any task. In this world, why would anyone ever employ a human for anything?

Yes I agree with this statement by Yang.

Basically Mtr. Stebbings came up short in his interview, because he lost control of the interview and allowed his channel to become the mouthpiece of Meta's industrial promotion of "There is no problem in AI". What a disappointing opportunity is this interview.

AI will harm people. Luigi AI creators.

I was also disapointed in that Mr. Stebbings essentiallly made the meeting a PR hand out for META. Why bother with making a video, and why should anyone bother listening to Mr. Stebbings pose such biographical softball questions? We can easily read the presentation in a print form.
