I played Splitgate before blew it up and having a few hundred players it still felt active. So I’m sure splitgate 2 will be alright and have even more

I really like Splitgate and I still play it today. ik nobody asked for this, but I started playing it back in season 3 around 2020 and I even bought disco balls for the battle pass to grind for the yellow gigabot skin variation, I even met nice people like Swiiitan, Estek02 and many other og streamers and players back in the day when it had around 200-300 players. We were just chilling in the private servers and doing silly custom games on stream, and the discord server was different to... I remember the channel "music" where I was posting my early soundtracks and the other guy was.... uh... sharing random videos about viechles or sth I wasnt very interested it that whatsoever; and the channel was removed entirely. I also remember that if you streamed the game for couple of hours on twitch you could get special roles on discord and cool tags, so if you stream (I think it was 5 hours in a week) you would get a streamer tag, thats all I remember because I was just grinding for this thing. However, when the beta launched me and my friends played a bit and everyone just forgot about it except players who like it and some doomers who are bored and dont know what to do with their lives. When I saw Splitgate 2 announcment trailer, I was like: WOW! To me, original was lacking some sort of gadgets that could maybe replace the EMP grenades and add some more depth into the game, I could be wrong but, I think that's what they're trying to go for. This game has a place in my heart and I don't plan on stopping. I made so many good memories and I WANT MORE! This is the best fps game I've played in my life! It is fun, addicting, competitive, goofy and everything good that makes a game AN EXPERIENCE.

Splitgate got me to play halo. Not even joking.

Splitgate had fun gameplay but it felt like it was mimicking halo which i get was the point, but they need to really get their own identity within the game, also i wasnt a huge fan of the maps, gameplay was pretty good though, wish you guys the best of luck with splitgate 2

I’ve been playing almost everyday for years. It’s kind of nice that splitgate has a smaller community, since there’s always a familiar face (username). It adds a certain charm to the game. I can’t wait for the new game to release!
