This Car Has 'it' - Race Sim Studio Formula Hybrid 2019 [Review]

Today I'm taking a look at the sublime new Race Sim Studio Formula Hybrid 2019 car for Assetto Corsa. In addition, Race Sim Studio has teamed up with Precision Sim Engineering to include a representation of their beautiful GPX wheel in the game, and they've been kind enough to send me one to try out for a few days.

Race Sim Studio have been consistently producing the best Assetto Corsa cars for a few years now. So, it's no surprise that the Race Sim Studio 2019 Formula Hybrid is worthy of note. But, to echo a point I made in in my review of the Formula V10 car earlier in the year, what's really impressive is that these guys keep finding ways to improve - there's not even a hint of resting on laurels. I don't think I really have to make a persuasive argument in favour of this car, if you like top flight single seaters and you play Assetto Corsa, this is a must have mod. I can't get enough of this car. With their previous cars being nothing short of impressive and their portfolio expanding with consistent improvements even when you don't think they could get any better, any time a new RSS download goes live, I jump on the chance as soon as I get the email. I did that with this car and the story is no different. In fact I'm more impressed with this car than anything else in their lineup. After watching onboards of real F1 cars, you can see the similarities in the way this car reacts to the driver inputs. In my mind it feels that way while driving it too and while this may just be me dreaming about the real thing, I honestly believe that the way this car handles isn't too far off. It's an incredibly rewarding car to drive but with no remorse. I could ramble on here for a while about it but I think my time would be better spent driving it ;)

Was shown this by a fellow driver in our racing group and although I haven’t played AC in a while I bought this and loved everything about it and GP 2 car that came with it. I’m so impressed by these RSS cars that I’m investing in the Formula 79 and 2010 cars. For the entry price it truly is a no-brainier.

Really good review! I'm one of those strange people who actually likes the Turbo V6 sound and it's pulled off in this car beautifully. The best thing about this car though is the detail, detail, detail its everywhere, it really does feel like a must have for Assetto Corsa. I can't wait to find an online event with it and see how it races.

I'm pretty new, and have enough trouble trying to get a Porsche around a track at anything close to the limit in one piece, let alone the fastest circuit car ever made. That said, even I can tell what a beauty this thing is. There's nothing quite like pushing the brake point farther and farther until you realise you can just go flat. There's a section of Spa that just blew my mind. This combined with a stellar start to the F1 season has me in my rig for hours on end and one day I want to be able to keep a decent pace in a grid full of this car. Great video, subscribed

I got the car very recently actually only 1 week before I saw this which is of course today. The car is STUNNING and the realism of the car, sounds, looks and just everything about it. I thought I'd be paying upwards of 25 euros. Then I saw the price tag and thought it was a fake file that was going to get me viruses because of the dirt cheap pricing but sure enough, it was the real deal and it is an understatement saying that this is worth the money it is a gift for the money you're paying and it's one of the greatest gifts ever.

Can't wait to try it out. I bought it on the weekend but also decided its time to reinstall AC so I can clean up all the mods etc. installed (my AC folder is 300GB). First thing I want to do is drive the 2018 right before so I can compare to the 2019. RSS mods are always pretty incredible, I wish they also made videos showing how much work they put into their mods.

Quality video mate, this car will be my next purchase, there's already a heap of skins up on RaceDepartment. That wheel is just insane, I could never justify paying that much though.
