Top 5 Chinese Drama Recommendations

In this video I talk about the top 5 Chinese dramas that I would recommend to my English speaking friends.  These are Chinese dramas that not only would I rank very highly, but also ones that have themes that are quite easily accessible to people that aren't from Chinese backgrounds.  I haven't seen every single Chinese drama out there so if there are any that you think that I missed, please let me know in the comments below!

Let's beginn:
Nirvana in fire: I know it is good, BUT I started it 3 times now and stuck all the time after 3 episodes.
The same with "longest day...
Highschooldramas are not for me...
I think I will try "Scarett Heart", that sounds good.
And "The Untamed" is one of my favorite C drama ever!

OK, what do I recomment?
"Eternal Love" That was my first Chinese drama ever and it was amazing!
"Ashes of Love" was great too.
What else?
Recently I watched "Sleuth of Ming Dynasty" and this was the first drama after "The Untamed" which I finished. Well, I read many bad reviews, but I think it was fine.

BBJX broke me. I watched it in January 2012, I remember so clearly. I started Sunday evening and on Tuesday I was on episode 20, then I started crying and I did not stop crying while watching until the end. It triggered one of the worst headaches of my life. I never want to watch it again. I mean it was beautiful but I can´t go through this anguish once again. And I think it made me number to the sadness in other dramas because now I rarely cry, I did not cry even watching The Untamed, which is weird because apparently many people did. Still The Untamed is in my opinion much more watchable and re-watchable. Now I really crave for something similar but I cannot find it.
