What is going on everyone? Leon checking in and we're at it again with another video.

In today's video we're going to talk about how to transfer music from Google Play Music to YouTube music.

If you haven't heard Google is ending support for Google Play Music soon and moving everything to YouTube music.

That leaves us as users, with two options.

Your first option is to download your entire music library from Google Play Music.

This allows you to listen to your music locally or upload it to another service.

If you would like to learn how to do this, you can click the card in the corner of this video.

Your second option is to transfer your music from Google Play Music to YouTube Music, which is what we will be covering in this video.

All things said… Let's go ahead… And get into it!

As a long time Play Music user, the last thing I want to do is have to go to YouTube Music. I had heard it won't transfer created playlists and I sure don't want it to pull music videos since that's not what I want on my phone. I'm thinking of Spotify so I can keep my created playlists and don't have to worry about YouTube maybe pushing music videos on me.

Eons ago I transferred all my uploaded CD's from computer to Google Play. Now I hit transfer for it to go to YouTube Music and only 4 songs transferred. So, in order to not lose any of my music contained in Google Play I used Google Transfer and have an e-mail with the download copies in it. Is it possible to transfer the downloads from that e-mail into YouTube Music?

Doesn’t work if your Google Play email is different to from your YouTube email because it doesn’t ask you which account to use.

Im so pissed about this change. I enjoyed just purchasing a song and listening to it on the poweramp app where songs sound 100x better. I shouldnt have to be connected to the internet to listen to music either. This is bullshit.
