Luke Musharbash | Art Video | Gangster Squad

Highly influenced by the movie Gangster Squad. At the time of creating this piece the movie was not in the movie theatres so I only had the trailers on YouTube to go by as reference. After watching the trailers a few times over, I made a rough sketch of Ryan Gosling as my reference point for the main gangster character I wanted to use in the piece. I was trying to add a more animated and stylized look to the piece, instead of going for realism.

I spent 3 days from start to finish. The media I chose to use were;

Airbrush ( iwata hp-c plus )
Spray Paint ( Belton )
Permanent Markers ( Edding )

This commission was so the client could give as a gift to her partner.
