according to scripture this is not true, all creatures not extinct by this time, and breathing air, made it on the ark . /please stop adding things to scripture. /just because there not alive today doesn't mean they weren't on the ark, infact job talks of the behemoth and describes it exactly like a long neck or a similar species and even says its so larg no one can over come it and that's impressive seeing that people hunted mammoths regularly and even rode elephants in early ancient times.
