The first blow of RMS Titanic's whistle fully assembled since April 14, 1912 at 12:00 PM. Of course, it wasn't on steam or on high pressure because that might damage it.

It's unbelievable to hear the Titanic's voice many decades later. It seems that the ship wants to live again.

I have a question, did Titanic sound the whistles during the sinking that night? I thought it would be neat to know if Titanic did sound the ship horns during the sinking that night. Did Titanic sound the ship horns that night of the sinking?

I think it would sound better if they ran it on steam

I was there in St. Paul Minnesota when they sounded publicly for the first time in 87 years. Friends gave us tickets and we live less than 10 miles away. The exhibit was amazing. There was a long line into the lady's room so mothers were bringing their daughters into the men's room while covering their eyes because they couldn't wait any longer. There were so many people. The Titanic sank the day before my grandfather's 11th birthday and I was present to hear Titanic’s voice again 87 years later and 10 years after my grandfather passed away.

Haunting, to think, before that, the last time that whistle was blown was to probably signal for help, before a lot of people died.
Personally, I think it should have been left where it was.

Shame it's too risky to use steam

Weird how there's some vibrato. Probably caused by pitting in the metal causing lopsided vibrations.

Sounds much better here than it did outside.

even tho this was just an early test blow on air it kinda sounds like Olympic when you pair it up. But still hopping that one day titanics whistle is blown in steam rather then air!
