Along with @lefthandedsurgeon sir we discuss an important case of abdominal emergency which is encountered frequently in practice and exams.

Case:

A 45 year old lady, she has no comorbidities. She came to the emergency with right upper quadrant pain since the last 2 days. She also had nausea and vomiting. She had a similar episode a couple of months back but she took some painkillers and was fine in day's time. She is complaining of dyspepsia as well. Since the last 2 days pain is really bad. On a score of 1-10, it is a 7/10, not getting relieved by the regular painkillers.
