One of if not my favourite side story, I can’t be the only one who cried in when reading this story. It just felt so sad and real to me. Chitch being such an innocent and kind sprite and being thrust in a cruel and horrible world. With guts slowly getting back in touch with his childlike innocence that he never truly got to experience. Only for all of it to be crushed under the unfeeling cruelty and malice of the world of man. This little story reminded me and showed me that remaining pure is hard but it is also correct. In this world that is constantly changing and trying to normalize everything. It’s important to stay grounded and remain pure without tainting yourself with the malice of the world. I hope chitch makes a return or some sort of call back to let us know she’s alive and well. Stay strong brothers and sisters.
