This is my favorite video of the year! I love getting my kids gifts. I love getting a good deal. And I LOVE sharing it all with you! I had a $60 budget per kid this year and I think I did pretty well between sales, thrifting, black Friday, and surplus stores. I hope you enjoy!

I love that story, God is so good. Early on in my marriage we were struggling a lot and I need it a new frying pan. We went to the mall just to walk around, and we went into kohls, I remember looking at a particular pan but I knew we couldn't afford it. SO I said a quick prayer for God's provision and as we were walking by the cashiers this lady walk to me and said, do you want some kohls cash, at first I didn't know what she was talking about but then she explained what it was and that it was expiring on that day but she didn't need it anymore. So she gave it to me and it was enough to get my frying pan just for few extra bucks. I felt so blessed and yet so humbled knowing that God care enough to make it happened. Anyway that sweater is lovely and i bet your daughter would love it.

This year my husband and I purchased monthly gifts of food needs for our church's pantry, instead of exchanging gifts with relatives and friends.

We exchanged a gift with each other ... clothing.

I took what I usually put aside in dollars each month for Christmas, used it for the food donations.

During the year, I also purchased some toys (clearance) to give to pantry for families in need.

It made a bit different Christmas, but a very satisfying Christmas knowing families had food on their tables and toys under the tree.

You are delightful. We had 5 wonderful children and all are grown now. We were thrifty too. I remember one Christmas when we only had $20 for them. I made many gifts, handmade. They never knew we were on a budget....they loved everything and we were much you. Games, homemade gifts, new pajamas made by me, one bought toy, etc. I loved this video. I’m sure it took time, but I am in complete awe of your shopping. What beautiful, tasteful charming gifts your children will receive. I loved the idea of yarn. Clover necklaces are precious. I don’t do a lot of YouTube but after that wonderful Eagles win football game I watched I thought I could use something a little light. Tune in to YouTube. Ironically, the first video I watched was a woman shopping in target who ended up spending $900 and was just throwing all kinds of stuff in her cart and I’m not sure she even was very aware of what she was buying. My first time watching you. I enjoyed it very much. Our 3 children always appreciated what they got bk we never got them huge expensive things. We had a very tight budget. I was a STAH MOM. I never wanted our children to say “is that all I got”, so I was very careful to teach them to appreciate any gift they got. They didn’t have grandparents or other family & friends to give them things so what they got from us was IT. We taught them that we were celebrating Jesus’ birthday, but wanted them to feel special, too. You did great finding special things for each child.

I have been homeless for 8 years now and Christmas and Birthdays are so hard. I have grandchildren and haven't been able to do anything and I feel so horrible. One day I will hopefully get things right so I can do something again. All of my Christmas decorations were stolen so.... I love everything you managed to accomplish. My sweet neighbor and I both thrift. I see her in Goodwill every so often. We always like to exchange neighbor gifts. She gave me a really nice barely used Wolfgang Puck panini press! I know she got a good deal on it and I love it!!
