Imagine if the obscene amounts of money that are spent buying politicians, influencing elections, and perpetual campaigning actually went for something that helped the country, like fixing the infrastructure, fair wages, or education? Imagine if politicians spent their time doing their jobs instead of appeasing donors, grabbing cash, and worrying about the next election?
