I think that the next Xbox gaming console will be 100% cloud gaming based with the majority of the games being streamed.

Your forgetting about cloud gaming. What if one will be a full on system that will play physical games. And the other will be a much cheaper system that only dose cloud streaming of games.

I don't comment on YouTube very often, quite rare actually... anyways I did feel that the 1X was a little bit of a disappointment for me, from when I opened it I felt like it was almost empty and disconnected. Been an Xbox fan since the 1st Gen and no matter what will always been a fan. Having said that, I hope that with the future they can offer an upgrade to the 1X to give the "most powerful console ever made" the ability to do 60fps and not the dumbed down half and under of that. Phil confirmed this himself that the CPU and GPU can not support one another or something along those lines. As a consumer that upsets me because they knew this well before launch and left that quiet and yes I know they were losing money on the 1X because of all the space time continuums and flux compasitors shoved in there with such a low price but still. Technology is rapidly changing all the time and this is a concept I can understand so to keep up with the next it thing must have it's challenges, we have 8k tv capability already and probably higher getting ready to be revealed and I still have a modest smart tv with an average refresh rate cuz I knew the leap from 1080 to 4k wouldn't last long and something else they wanted us to buy would come out. So, they could have left the 1X honest with it capable of upgrading cuz honestly it gets tiring hearing this is the next big thing, won't need to buy anything else for years to come and they are already talking new consoles. I like the directions with the streaming, the on the go type options and but what about my "most powerful console ever

This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Just get used to buying a new more powerful xbox every 3 to 5 years. When phil announced the X1X he said that the time of console generations for xbox is done maybe this is his way of showing it so if people want to stick with consoles which is my preference then we have to accept this.

I bought the X1X but i was also aware that Microsoft was probably getting sick of getting shit on by sony fans possibly and this is there answer to that. Here is the way i look at the situation Phil didnt end the generation of consoles on xbox side of things all he did is make the generation shorter and more incremental so that no matter what sony tries to do they will constantly be playing catch up when it comes to hardware and raw power at least thats the message/statement i recieved when phil said he never wants to let go of the power narrative and that is actually pretty cohesive with the shorter generation cycle that i mentioned above.

Face it your talking about Microsoft and they are looking at the bigger picture and not whats happening write here and now after they saw that they were getting beat by Sony they probably decided to do the things gr that i mentioned above and thats just the way Microsoft plans to stomp out the xbox sucks fire that playstation fans decided to light.

Those are just my thoughts and the way im speculating things tell me if you think im on the write path here.

And what would you get in 2020 a 4k 60fps console wait! i thought the xbox one x did that already or is technology going to leap years ahead in less than 18 months and you get 8k 120fps, oh wait just ask crapgamer he'll agree on that. Do people on youtube especially gamers buy into this crap. I'm no fanboy but christ. xbox lost this generations console war. get as salty as you like it's a fact they won with the 360 they lost with the one. If they bring out a new console in 2020 then all they are is desperate. Gears of war will have a Christmas 2019 release halo 2020 at least and forza 8 Christmas 2019 so what for this so called new console backwards compatibility, game pass. Welcome to the new xbox same as the old xbox
