Enchanted Rock State Natural Area | We found a cave!

In today's video, we're exploring Enchanted Rock State Park in Fredericksburg, TX. This massive pink granite rock is another stargazing location on the list of International Dark Sky Parks in TX. Don’t forget if you are hiking with kids at Enchanted Rock to grab a Junior Ranger Activity Guide (pick up at front office).

If you're in Central Texas visiting the wine vineyards around Fredericksburg or another area in the Texas Hill Country then definitely add this to your list of stops.

✹ The park only has a certain number of reservations per day, so make plans to check availability on reservations before you visit the park.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.
Advanced reservations for day passes and overnight stays are required on weekends, school breaks and holidays. While not required on regular weekdays, we usually reach capacity every day. To guarantee entrance reserve passes online, or by calling the customer service center, before you visit.

Please be aware of the park rules on pets — VERY IMPORTANT!!!

To protect this Natural Area, pets are only allowed in the designated day-use picnic areas, the campgrounds, and on the Loop Trail (pets are not allowed on any other trail). Don't leave pets unattended, including in vehicles and at campsites, and keep them on a leash no longer than six feet at all times.

That place looks fun. Fyi from my personal experience on trails that don't allow dogs. Get your dog registered as a service/emotional support animal and they can go everywhere
