"Playa De Las Americas Nightlife: Bars & Clubs
Playa de las Americas has a reputation as the party capital of Tenerife. And sure enough, you'll find lots of nightclubs and beach bars pumping dance music out all night. If you're not a hard-core raver then don't worry, there are a whole lot of other sides to playa de las Americas nightlife in the town too, which cater to practically every taste and budget. The main areas for the bars and clubs are all located in and around the centre of the town and along the beachfront. Veronica's strip is a very popular area for the younger crowd, packed with nightclubs and bars with cheap alcohol and drinking games. The nearby Starco's area also has a good choice of bars and clubs and it tends to be busier earlier in the evening before people make their way to the all-nighters at Veronica's. Families and those over 25 may prefer The Patch, where you'll find more relaxed restaurants and pubs, or head to the Parque de la Paz strip, which is behind the Safari Shopping Centre. There are literally hundreds of venues to choose from, so you may wish your holiday in the resort was longer. One of the most well-known pubs in the town is Linekers Bar. Popular with British tourists, this bustling bar is normally jam-packed. As well quaffing lager and shots, you can prove your knowledge at quiz night or join the fun with a spot of karaoke.
Dance the night away at Tramps
Tramps, known locally as the King of Clubs, is the place to head for a night of high energy dancing. International DJs regularly play sets here and it's popular with hens and stags, so expect plenty of high japes! Chill out at a pool party at the popular Kaluna Beach Club, where the dreamy infinity pool is as good as the cocktails. As one night of cocktails is rarely enough, seek out Akustito Cocktail. This simple shack is located right by Christianos beach and you'll find delicious mojitos served that are out of this world.
Rock and roll
If you prefer rock to disco and dance, then try out Sax Bar where live bands belt out favourites from ACDC to Oasis. You'll also find plenty of cabaret and comedy clubs in the resort. Have a laugh and get into the holiday spirit with a night at Crystals Palace. This fun pub and show bar almost guarantees an evening of laughter and you might get to meet the fabulous Crystal herself. It's been voted the number one club in the town on Trip Advisor, so comes highly recommended. For something totally different, the Auditoro Infanta Leonor theatre in Los Cristianos hosts classical music concerts, ballets and flamenco shows. This is a must for culture lovers and is proof that there really is something for everyone. The close location between each of the main nightlife strips makes it easy to get around if you want to explore different venues. There's also plenty of buses and taxis available if you don't want to walk back to your accommodation at the end of the night."
