Wanna know something wild that just happened while i was listening to this cover?? I coincidentally decided to randomly shiny hunt for a Ponyta in Pokemon **Sword and Shield.** And after only minutes after booting the game up, i found a shiny Shiinotic instead. The cover got to the really dramatic part near the end, when i thought i might accidentally kill the shiny and lose him before he could be caught! But on the last chorus, he was Wtf why was this so thematically appropriate!!! There's a strange power emanating from this video that made this happen, i know it 👀

Part of what makes this a great song for me is that it’s actually a great take on a historical figure. I was really surprised to hear a song about the French Revolution gaining such popularity. And this is a wonderful cover!

I’m adding this to two of my d&d characters playlists, I now have two versions of the same song. Both covers and I love them both. To me this version shows, in both characters respectively, their acceptance to their situations. It’s more soft tuned and melodic rather than rough and chaotically loud like the drumming sounds of war.
