Not enough of an upgrade for me, especially when you LOOSE S Pen Bluetooth and 10x camera zoom. I also prefer the squared edges of the S 23 the S 25 looks like every other phone out there..

Waste of money, 23Ultra is still a beast. You won't notice any difference in the real world. Benchmark tests don't translate into real daily use.

Not gonna lie, you just convinced me to keep my S23U.
S23U better color, better 10x camera.
A few months to have the same software.
Battery is still all day so no problem.
Phone is still fast enough.

Not a big upgrade for me but a downgrade. The S pen is the one of the unique for Samsung galaxy ultra lines. Samsung should improve the S pen capabilities, not remove this unique accessory. Still love my s23 ultra.

I will keep my s24 ultra 512 gb model, i will use it probably for 3-4 years. I have enough software support for it and i don't want to waste my money anymore. Every year the differences are smaller and smaller...

Pulled the trigger on the S25U after skipping the 24. My S23U still works well but the battery life is not what it used to be. Looking forward to the flat screen and the new UI on the 25.

The edge of frame on 25 is so wide that, it almost likes a downgrade from s23 ultra. Overall aesthetics is much better on 23 ultra.

But don't forget you would have spent $1300 on your previous phone, still got it's value chopped off to $750 in just 1-2 years and then spending another $550 again on top for a slightly faster phone every couple of years. That means you will be spending $1100 again every single year or 2 years for a slightly upgraded phone and not significantly better. You will be spending $1100 to keep up every year just to have the latest but for what exactly really? Is it really worth it?

I spent $1300 on the S23 Ultra in 2023
I got $750 credit for trading this in now for the new phone.
That means Samsung has earned $550 off me for this purchase in 1-2 years.

I now spend another $550 on top to get the newest after trade in.

That is actually $1100 spent in 2 years from Jan 2023 to Jan 2025. Repeat this every year for slightly better phones that pretty much does the same things and same experiences. You think you have a good deal when you see it's just $550 when in reality it's keeping you trapped in this loop just to satisfy urge on owning the latest.
