Reading aloud kid’s book There Was a Black Hole that Swallowed the Universe by Chris Ferrie and illustrated by Susan Batori

This book is a bit too advanced for a two year old but it still kept my daughter interested. Perhaps it’s the strange sciencey words like black holes, electrons and quarks. Nevertheless - if you get this book, don’t forget to use a black light to reveal a backwards story.
