Thanks for watching. It was a very hard song to transcribe and prepare, specially for the different and complex rhytmic patterns. It's played only with DI and it's in a clear Motown style and sound. Try to play it and you'll be surprised how hard some parts can be. I did my best but missed some bars, sorry about that. Let em know if you have any question. I'll answer.

Ok, lets get real... THIS is one of the hardest line to play and learn... It"s like the complete scope of a professional bassman toolbox in a song... Amaaaazing job man... Respect!

Ok . Its one thing to play the riff right a couple times, but to nail this whole song is truly amazing. I remember dico dancing to this as a young man. Always loved the bass part.

Nice! I haven't heard this since the early 80s and forgot how monster this bass line was.

Masterful. I have a feeling this is one of those bass lines that never gets played the same way twice.

One of my favorite songs. I knew there was more going on with the bass than I could really hear....now I know for sure! Epic.

One of the best basslines in music history! Great job! I've known this song since it came out in 1975 and as a kid, the bassline always stuck out. You killed it! Thanks for recording and posting this!

That little slide at 3:06! I was waiting to see if you'd play it and you did. Every detail and nuance is covered in you're videos. Amazing.

Amazing! I used to play the bass when I was in my early 20’s. Basic punk rock. I stopped playing and just started back up about a year ago. (Just turned 49) What you share is so helpful. I’ve been trying to learn this song. The first week, my arms and neck were sore, lol! I’m good now. Thank you for helping us to learn bass lines like this one. Love it.

Holy SMOKEShow! A treasure trove of Disco licks. Nice work figuring it all out, nailing it down and sharing the tabs. Impressive!

Remember when this came out. Amazing song. Have always loved it but had no idea so much was going on with the bass line. That’s honestly crazy! My hand hurt just watching. Lol.
