Just to clarify to everyone, the general term is the raccoon suit, but when Luigi gets it, it's more of a keaton suit. If you played Super Mario 3D Land and unlocked, then this shouldn't be a surprise to you, as the same concept was applied there too.

Did you notice that this is similar to Mario World(more specifically, the Advanced remake's intro) plot? Mario and Luigi ditch the Princess to go fly, and then the Koopa Troop has her captured? I mean, it's mainly just bare bones, but still.

Actually, Luigi now turns into a Kitsune (Fox in Japanese) when he gets a Super/Tanooki Leaf.

This has the RACCOON SUIT, not the Tanooki suit.
The Raccoon suit is just the ears and tail.
The Tanooki suit is the whole body, and can turn into stone.

I watched an E3 video of this and the person doing the video called it a tanooki suit and the nintendo representative went crazy on him saying it wasnt a tanooki suit

The America code is "out, " well at least the Nintendo site gives the hint to find the code. Whether the code is released or they are just giving the hint in advance, I don't know

They should have it as a cool option that you have/unlock in the options menu or something, to have it where you can switch the Mario bros to, Mario goes faster and Luigi goes higher, and for Mii's it can be either one, that's my opinion, but I thought that'd be awesome! :D

Man I miss the old traits that Mario and Luigi used to have,
Luigi - high jump/ floaty character
Mario - faster/more responsive
that would be an interesting feeling again.
