This was recorded live at BBC Maida Vale Studios and played on Roger Scott's Saturday Sequence. The best version I have heard of this song. If I remember correctly there were two other tracks played as part of this session...

fantastic and timeless song, even though this singer is Scottish (?) it sounds like a traditional Irish ballad from many years ago, in all ways true to the Irish heritage.
