Back when i was younger and we raised livestock, on those long hauls we put straw bedding down for them. It not only gave them a bit more comfort and less slipping around once they soiled in there, but it made it easier to clean out as well. We would then put the "used" straw over the garden plots for the flowers and veggies to benefit from.

DUSTY: When we hauled livestock, my dad used a combination of straw and sawdust to line the trailer floors. It saved us a bunch on clean-up. I hope your trip was safe and productive. I enjoyed the video.

So beautiful seeing the gorgeous sunset with the Bison.

One thing that is so necessary is to lift the mats, clean and check the floor underneath, have seen numerous animals that have gone through the floor and dragged.

As a kid growing up we had some horses....Putting sawdust and straw on the floor of the trailer (or stall) will help soak up the urine and poop, keep the smell down, the Bison cleaner, and makes the trailer easier shovel and sweep; making your job easier to keep clean.

On that replace piece you could put your logo. It would look like it was planned.

Dusty, you really should submit some of your films of the bison and send it to Hollywood, seriously good footage for movies/westerns. 🤷‍♀️

You better pull out the matts and clean that trailer and get what's UNDER the matts or you will rot out the trailer, I works with metal, pick up the edges and you will see more than the little bit of corrosion showing now.

I love seeing the bison coming as a group towards you. If I was there I can imagine feeling the weight and power of their hooves on the ground. Something is city folk don’t get to experience.

Bedding makes mucking easier. Pull out to a pasture and just push it out the back

The videos of the sunsets and your herd never get old, Dusty. God is good! May you, Marissa, Brooks, and your family continue to be blessed!

The same thing happened to my stock trailer.but I didn’t lose it. They were only pot weld /tact crazy. I throw a bale of shavings in. Easier to clean out and will help keep your show stock looking good 👍👍🙏 Have a great, fun, safe trip. The next couple of weeks are looking dicey. 🙏🙏👍👍👏

Dusty love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and your family and the bison and other animals and cleaning to get ready to go to Denver CO.

I have repaired many Aluminum trailers like yours. The urine gets under the floor pads and it oxidizes the metal . It's like acid desovels the metal . At least once a year clean it is important.
