100 MG42 vs 100 MG3 - FIRING RANGE

We're back with a new episode from the firing range series, this time going neck to neck MG42 vs MG3. Both were nearly identical machine guns, one from the German Third Reich days, and another one from West Germany. The main difference is just different caliber. So we set up this fun experiment, to find out the outcome, which is better?

Of course, once one side starts losing more, their loss becomes even more likely, as they have less firepower outgoing. I would like to see the results of a few rematches switching sides.

The guns are almost the same except for the rounds they're using, including the rate of fire that's 1, 200 rounds per minute so this was interesting to see. If the MG3s had optics it would have been a wipe out.

It is strange to compare weapons of 42 years old and modern ones, when the soldiers themselves are dressed in bulletproof vests and helmets, and those dummies, in general

Do the helmet and uniform have an effect? Does the MG3 Soldier have body armor or is it purely cosmetic?

Otherwise the modern soldiers have a massive advantage and this test is inaccurate.
