I really wanted Lagoona to be a more elevated version of activewear... I feel like the Haunt Couture dolls are elevated versions of their core OG outfits, and I don't see this Lagoona as being quintessential Lagoona... she is more reminiscent of her Dawn of the Dance outfit silhouette with Shriek Wrecked influence

Cleo is goregeous, but the $75 price point for these dolls is questionable to me. I will probably wait for the Cleo and Ghoulia reproduction dolls to come out.

I don't think the school bag fits Cleo. I feel like she would have one those tiny designer purses that Maddy had in Euphoria, that could hold absolutely nothing else except her makeup and phone. Cleo is not coming to school to learn lol

These 2 were the ones I were looking forward to the most (as Lagoona & Cleo are my 2nd fav MH characters, just after Catty). However compared to the other 3 haunt couture dolls these 2 looks kinda, well, cheap? They're not necessarily bad just not the same level as the others.

Also don't know even to begin with Lagoona, this looks like they just mixed Dawn of the Dance with shriek wrecked & monster exchange, changed the colors and materials a bit and called it a day. I agree with a previous comment that said that Haunt Couture is like an elevated version of their core OG looks, so she should have had a more elevated version of activewear.

I do like Cleo's outfit it's kinda nice (except for the phone holder, the mix of teal and blue, and the belt) but it just doesn't say Haunt Couture to me it looks more like a playline outfit to me. Also as someone else mentioned beetles (or scarabs) were always Nefera's thing so I don't think it goes too well with Cleo tbh. And why does she have a backpack and Lagoona a cute little handbag? Should have been the other way around imo.

I did intentionally want these but reconsidering cause the $75 price tag + shipping, customs, & VAT to where I live (in the EU) is makes me doubt if it's really worth it (& if I miss out on them they're going to be even more on ebay due to scalpers). Why can't they just sell them through amazon in addition it would make everything so so sooo much easier for us EU customers.

Ya know... I had a feeling I wouldn't love their designs. Cleo's look is basic, in a $25 play line way, nothing couture about it. Lagoona's design would be cute in a formal dance line but makes no sense in this one. Them taking advantage of nostalgic fans and making these dolls $90+ with shipping and tax is disheartening

I do really like these dolls but I just don’t feel like they fit with the other haunt couture dolls. They just don’t look very cohesive compared to the other ghouls

I think they’re going for an 80’s madonna aesthetic for lagoona with the long mermaid dress and cropped jacket on top

Lagoona's hairpiece to me is reminiscent of coral and a fish fin. I don't know much about species of coral, so I'm sure it's modeled after a specific one. I own a relatively small number of MH dolls and the vast majority are Draculaura dolls. There are many dolls of other characters that I'd love to get and personally I'm really loving Lagoona's design here. To me the dark blue on Cleo really clashes with the teal

These look so pretty! I'm excited for each of them. I wish Ghoulia would have a HC doll - her dolls were always some of the prettiest to me. Based on the release schedule this year, I'd guess we'll get one in August and one in September. I'm looking forward to the higher quality photos, but just based on these, definitely going to try and buy them!

I think tho Lagoona needs less layers on the skirt and maybe a different head piece and slight hair change.


As for Cleo the detail on the pants looks like it can’t hold the phone case so well on her leg but love that detail, also the dark blue phone and belt piece are interesting.

I’m pretty excited I’ve already got the other 3 so I’ll definitely be adding them to the collection, plus I need to know the drama.

I.. HATE the Lagoona look XD I mean..the fanmade shoes and purse we saw as fake leaks were so much better.. that hair and the dress.. Cleo looks pretty decent tbh. But the phone holder is a nono

Cleo is amazing, that's how you slay after break up hahaha. And I just wish that Lagoona's style is more into sport's wear+fashion but she reminded me of her doll in the dance of the dawn line.

I have never disliked detailed MH dolls this much...
They look kinda tasteless.
Who designed these? I do not know who it is but there is a big probability of them going through things (for example, divorce or depression?). I do not know what is going on within the MH designer team but the lack of clear art direction in recent releases is really bothering me.

I just have nothing really positive to say. I am quite upset. If this is what collector dolls are now then the playline dolls for sure have a high chance to fail upon release.

It looks like lagoona necklace is an octopus or a Crackin, I love how her look is probably based on her first dance outfit
Cleo outfits looks like they I mixed heat accessories to all her different outfits when you original motor ri and smash them together with a bit of the athletic leisure ware that’s been trending hopefully the cell phone gets a new mold and that the suffer was supposed to look more like regular iPhones it be weird to have a non-coffin shaped cell phone

I’m a little underwhelmed honestly and Lagoona my ghoul the one I’ve been waiting for. I just don’t see the work that was put into the first 3 here it’s like they got lazy and with still charge $75
