I knew Muzafer Sherif personally in the later years of his life. He explained these concepts to me, and I have utilized his methods in successfully navigating and resolving group conflict. The world is currently at a precipice where these concepts, specifically, Superordinate Goals, may apply and literally avert WW3/nuclear annihilation. Anyone out there make this connection? This may be Muzafer's gift to humanity.
