SingStar: The Evolution from PS2 to PS3 to PS4

May 21, 2024 marks 20 years since SingStar launched on the PlayStation 2 in Europe. Over the course of 3 console generations we saw the series evolve with new songs, new menu designs and new ways to play. While the series and its developer, London Studio, may be gone, its legacy is forever cemented in PlayStation's history.

Personally I never liked SingStar due the weird singing mechanic system, it felt kind broken to me, even more the freestyle section on rap songs.

But still the game was quite fun to play in parties with friends, even it was perfect for people that never played videogames before since it just sing and randomly see who win, lol!.

In any case the only 2 games that I actually enjoyed a lot were the experimental ones: Guitar and Dance, since I was a Guitar Hero/Rock Band player it was nice to find another alternative with SingStar Guitar and with SingStar Dance well.... I only wanted an excuse to play with the PS Move and do some exercise. 😂

I only played on PS2 so that's my choice. Cindy lauper and Whitney Houston on there with should I stay or should I go! I was never any good 😂

I've never heard of this game here in my country, I didn't know that Playstation had this type of game haha
