I have this same one! I'm glad you figured out how to make it brighter, it took me a moment to realize that was something I could do as well (cuz i also didn't read the instructions oOPS.) It is a little finicky, as I've accidentally turned it off if I bumped the power button while using it, but still much more convenient than using the window haha

Can we use like dark gray fabric to draw on it. I wonder if it's light is enough to see through the fabric..

It's not cheating if you use to develop concept art. You draw the initial concept then use the another paper over it and draw to develop it.

I haven't watched your whole video and maybe it is because you were filming... if you turn out the overhead bright lights there is no issue seeing the original to trace on 300 gram watercolour paper.... I didn't know until someone told me...

aren't lighboxes really bad for your eyes? I'd rather scan and digitize my line art to get rid of pencil, and then I can print the result if I need a physical copy

How is it finicky... you hold the button until it reaches your desired brightness level. It's not rocket science
