DJ DENZ The Rooster is a DJ and producer from Parsippany, New Jersey. Cinematic, hard-hitting, and R&B-inflected moods characterize his wide-ranging, versatile style of trap. Denz hears music in everyday life, where anything from ambient street noises to the sound of a vending machine might trigger an inspiration for a sample or element in his beats. His goal is to transform these disparate noises and create a perfect blend of magic.

Denz’s musical journey started at a young age, when he played different instruments in multiple bands and immersed himself in anything music-related at school. At age 13, he discovered his talent for producing beats. He began experimenting across genres, from pop and hip hop to house music and dubstep, working for years to develop and distill his signature style of trap.
