….. so I’m watching ALL your videos, because the truth is I did everything I was told to; studied hard; went to college; got qualified, worked and worked…. and I’m still hanging on at the end of the month. Every time I saw a politician clap for key workers I thought…. Don’t clap!!! Just pay more…. but it looks like they’ve forgotten that they were supposed to feel grateful for people’s hard work. Hi Gary it's me again. Another great video. Also I want to thank you for something that is often overlooked. That is the fact that you have subtitled all of your videos. That is wonderful as people with disabilities, including those with hearing disabilities, are tragically very badly catered for in our global society. By putting good quality accurate subtitles on your videos, you have included those with hearing difficulties and thus made another step towards tackling inequality.

It's mad how the fact that rich and poor people behave differently is a revelation to people whose job it is to understand the economy. More power to ya, Gary.

I've watched quite a few of your videos now. A few conclusions:

1) Unfortunately, I've not seen anyone comment on why you are wrong. It would be nice to see that as it would give a bit more hope that there are other ways to repair the situation.

2) Your presentation and explanation skills are excellent, if you want it, I think you have an amazing future helping and empowering people by making complex situations understandable to them.

3) I think you made money and are able to explain this situation precisely because you have an amazing ability to simplify. This might not sound like much of a compliment but understanding incredible complexity and reducing it to understandable simplicity is an incredibly rare and valuable skill. Makes me think of people like Richard Feynman.

4) I think what you're doing is commendable. You are helping everyone that sees your videos. Please keep at it!

My father was a milkman, he would be up at 1:30am everyday 6 days a week for 40 years, I used to help him on the weekends. I got lucky, I got into University, got a decent job, and earn a decent salary (top 10%). So I appreciate your views, wealth inequality is a massive problem, we’re heading for a dystopian future unless we address this fundamental problem in western economies (we’re not alone on this).

The madness is he now lives in a million pound property he bought for 90k back in the day, he delivered milk ffs, but assets have outstrip wage growth year on year for decades. I personally will inherit an outrageous amount of money that I’ve not earned through my own hard work. Yet we claim to live in a meritocracy.

Trickle down is bullshit, it’s always been bullshit, it’s pulling productive money out of the system, driving down real wages whilst driving up asset values. Meanwhile those who are making the money think they’ve “earned it” by working hard. It’s madness…. Respect to you for taking a stand and arguing the point!

Hi Gary, I have seen you recently on the BBC and had to look you up. The way you come across is brilliant and I admire what you are trying to achieve. The cost of living crisis has got worse since you made this video and will continue to do so throughout 2022 while the markets and property prices continue to climb. Dark times ahead for millions of working class people and their families which is so concerning for the likes of you and I. I am one of the lucky ones that don't have to worry right now about paying my bills but instead I worry for my 2 older children and their generation who are struggling in low paid jobs with huge costs connected to living a basic lifestyle.

bruv, I am so glad i found you. My dads in his 60s and is learning 4 days a week (While still working his day job) on a course teaching how to trade. He is then going to teach me and my brother.

Beginning of 2024 he sits me and my brother down and tells us a lot of what youre saying in all your videos. im from a poor background with no higher education and bad health, so I havent much to work with. But he put me onto Silver and Gold. Its not a lot but me and my brother spent last year educating ourselves about Silver and Gold. its again not a lot, but has given us a lil security for when it hits the fan. I've spent the last few days watching through some of your videos and i AM going to watch ALL of your videos in the coming weeks. Youre very insperational and you speaking about how hard your dad worked, i see that and know how you feel. Your dad must be so so proud of you, as i am of my father. You are making some of the most important info on the whole of the internet. Keep doing this man! For the people that listen, youre doing such important work and its insperational.
