The US Post Office needs these for mail delivery during snow storms.

The 4 wheel steering is awesome! I bet owners of the H1 & H2 wish they had that.

Kurt is a walking encyclopedia of all things LandCruisers! Great to see him back on here!

Don't Let Whistling Diesel see these, dont give him any ideas.

The Mega Cruisers are nice IMV for motorized units. Much handier than a HUMVEE but not really good for up-armouring. These were solid rigs for the JDF in a country with lots of forests and elevation change.

Toyota does love their high displacement 4-cylinder engines, and that turbo diesel really turns over quick.

It’s funny, the sticker list, at 3:19, from 1-6, basically says your truck is fat, use your turn signals and don’t fall asleep.

The real difference between this and a Humvee is that, this one runs and drives reliably.

Japanese Hummer. Odd...I can't imagine that thing being able to drive in over 80% of the entire country of Japan as it's just too big to fit on their roads. What a weird machine.

The engine in this thing is a perfect example of the saying "no replacement for displacement"!

That 4.1 liter is accaully that same engine in the late 1990s toyota dyna trucks, which is the same as my toyota dyna but non-turbo @ 115 Bhp

1:19 Damn, a 4.1 liter 4-banger? And I thought the 3.9 liter V6 in my Buick Lucerne was big for its cylinder count

I love the 3 wiper blades on this and the GMC Hummer EV. The Hummer H2 should have had 3 as well.

Oh what a feeling, Toyoda. Being a Toyoda it would have to be at least 200% better then the Humvee.

Let's not forget that the Toyota Landcruiser got its start because Toyota was contracted by the Pentagon to build Jeeps for the U.S. Military during the Korean War. Toyota engineers looked at the specs and knew they could build a better version of the Jeep.

The spacial disorientation is a real issue, but glad you're in SLC -- in Utah the streets are so wide and accommodating it's a safe place to get oriented.

They should produce, once again, the Toyota Megacruiser, a bare bones one. I suspect there is a market for this vehicle, either in the military or in the civilian market.
