Was great to see the Mini reviewed. Well done, Derek! I actually passed my driving test in a Mini Cooper a long time ago. Not sure I'd buy this car but would love to drive it for a week for that sense of nostalgia!

Love the car's look but not a fan of BMW failing to build it as a ground-up EV. The MINI platform is begging for pure electrification; flat floors, additional storage, and all the other benefits that brings.

Did they reduce the "Union Jackage" for the versions sold in Europe (other than in Ireland) or not? I guess it would be a bit like FIAT putting Italian flags signage on everything. Must have been many marketing debates about that.

“You also have Union Jack tail lights which cannot be spec’d off it...” — that’s a shame and quite surprising, it will definitely turn off some prospective buyers.

Hmmm, just like Taycan with "Turbo" - how can an EV have a supercharger (S designation). Maybe it should have been E. :) That indicator clicking seems a bit fast, almost like a failed indicator warning. Rather annoying.
