Thats a 1973-1977 body style. My favorite of the Ford trucks.

My Dad had a 1973 F-250 Ranger this color only his had clearance lights on top of the cab. It was 4WD with a 360 and a four speed manual transmission ! He kept it so clean you could eat off of it!
We used to go out on fire Island and Long Beach with it Surf Casting! He would lower the air pressure in the tires and off we’d go! Never got stuck in that ford ever!
Dads gone now, I miss him every day! Even though we went out on the beach it never rusted! He would pressure wash it from top to bottom and never drove it in the salt water! Miss you Pop!

The grill is a 76. Also 76 turn signals were clear, 77 they were amber. 76 had the F badging on the fenders, 77 and up had them on the cowl.

73 to 79, all the body parts are interchangeable. Could be a 79 with a 76 grill in it, or, it could be a 73 with a 76 grill in it. Grill is a 76

My dad came to Florida when I lived there and bought a 76 from a marina, it's all it had ever done is pull boats out! Was a camper specialty XLT with the side tool box in rear quarters panel. Had like 20, 000 original miles on it, He put it on the road and farm! Built a special spring hitch that would move side to side for wagon tounges, and bought 4 of those big killsbros 12 tons running gear wagons, that's about 20, 000 in weight with grain, mill was 8 miles away. One things he always preached to everyone, Don't you baby that truck or transmission! We would get a wagon full, hook up, tou were in soft fields alot, going up hills over railroad tracks on farm, then out on highway, mile to small town then to mill road and its all up and down hills, pedal to the metal going up hill and it's pushing you downhill. So you had to be careful! Did that for years, one season would put over 2400 miles on it. That truck was used up to 12 years ago, then decided bigger tractor would pull 2 wagons at a time. It was then used just to shuttle wagons and seed to fields, then parked for last five, body and frame was rusty. But still a great truck. Some guy came along that had lost his son in a tree trimming business and was gonna restore it! So we sold it to him. It looked like this truck other than it was red on red. Was a rough and tough ole truck! 😊
