I am team WF I already got Active cash autograph and just got reflect with 21 months 0% APR so I’ll think about the autograph journey card in the future I think WF should have did something else to cover the full annual fee like the other cards

Wells Fargo’s reputation still has pushed me away from getting the BILT or other cards… would like to reevaluate in a couple months before pulling the trigger, great video!

Question for you: Do you carry Wells Fargo credit cards? Do you plan to add this card to your wallet? 👇

I love Aeroplan as well. Just transferred to them today for a flight from JFK to Brussels. Got 4.55 cents per point.

It's easy to move AC rewards to your Autograph account

WF don't have connection to Hyatt, Bilt is the one who has connection with Hyatt. WF is just a card issuer for Bilt program.

When you do comparison, you can be more specific. It’s quite biased when you compare this card’s perks with others without explaining it. For example, venture X offer 300 annual credit and 10X on hotels and car rental through its travel portal and chase also offer 10X on the same category when booking through their travel portal but also 1.5 points value up. Their travel portal can also find the same price as you book directly from the airlines.

Do you think this is better than the chase prefered?

I like the prefered, but I'm having problems looking for a tandem.

I think WF Journey and Amex Gold are a good tandem

As a points newbie, I have a question. I book most travel through booking sites like Expedia and Agoda. Would I still get the bonus/multiplied points if I use this card? Additionally, can the card recognize the difference between buying a plane ticket on Travelocity versus booking a hotel on Travelocity and multiply the points accordingly?

I think we should wait----Transfer partners is not up to snuff yet. No where near enough or quality partners

The travel partners do nothing for me and the 2x multiplier on groceries makes it a no go for me. Great multipliers for travel, but just not a good fit for me.

I feel there’s no real reason to add this card to the Autograph/Active Cash Duo for the AF, let alone replace the Autograph all together in a setup.

The positives:
It ups Hotels and Flights from 3x to 5x and 4x respectively. And double the cell phone coverage from 600 to 1000
The Negatives:
No 3x gas, transit, streaming, phone. Worse 3x Travel conditions

It’s better way better than the CSP imo but WF generosity in giving all the same benefits to the Autograph hurts this card. The CSP is only valuable because it’s basically a redemption card. Maybe the Autograph Beyond will have the missing grocery multiplier and a point redemption multiplier along with TSAPre/Global/Entry/Clear. If the beyond is strong, this card being semi weak works in their favor to make the easy call to go for the expensive Beyond. Praying for better partners too.

TLDR:
Wells Fargo with the crazy potential rn

I have mever seen a mid tier travel card get lit up with so much disdain from people....its a good decent card but a overall lesser option then green, prefered, maybe even 75k venture rewards.

i don't know what wells will do about the travel partners. Hyatt would be fantastic but not likely.

As its been stated, bilt & wells have a partnership but are 2 totally different brands. Bilt existed well before og wells autograph with its same benifits but at that time it was a secret invite only card.

Also bilt is likely to lose hyatt just like american airlines if they only did a 3/5 contract with hyatt (the 3/5 years would have allowed them to bring in costumers promotion & lots of traffic to bilt)

hyatt on chase is signed in 10/15 year Increments, chase throws a lot of money at hyatt....

This is why its bit difficult for wells to just simply copy bilt. Its much more political then this, unfortunately.

I think the card is decent but lagging behind the rest as of now. Great vid

The card itself and its multipliers are great; unfortunately the partners are severely lacking. It's like being invited to the best party ever, but all the girls there are ugly

I dont like that Car rental insurance is secondary

i dont think bank of america will like it if autograph journey becomes an alaska airlines transfer partner. because of the 4x airlines is higher than BoA's 3x alaska airlines purchases.

What I like most about this card is that it's too good to be true, so abuse the 5% hotels and 4% airlines while you can. Where this card falls short compared to the no-fee Autograph is the 3% on transit (parking lots, garages, meters, tolls, rail tickets, and public transport fares), gas (pump and most in-store transactions), and EV charging (at station or most charging apps).

Definitely there are better cards for gas but you'd be hard-pressed to find a card that treats EV charging like gas (looking at you Chase promos) and transit categories at the travel cashback rate.
