🎛 MY SOCIALS:

Arturia Pigments is one of many do it all synthesizer plugins. Omnisphere, Phaseplant, Serum, Vital, Reaktor, Massive, all make an attempt to be an all inclusive solution for sound design and synthesis. Each of these plugins are incredible tools but for me Pigments is a step above the rest due to a number of reasons. Its incredible user interface, is hyper logical and quick to use. The educational potential is huge due to to its amazing "Sound Design Tips" feature within each preset. The modulation system scratches that modular synth itch with its random and generative modulation sources. The sequencer is amazing and the midi program change feature is killer for live musicians.

My dude here is the best asset for Ableton on Youtube. No one does it better in my opinion

Pigments 5 is now part of my arsenal. It's so nice to have different tools for different purposes and colors. different synths can take you to different timbral expressions and tones. what a time to be alive.

Thank you for bringing more attention to Pigments!! It is one of the best synths out there and really deserves more recognition that it has been getting!! Much appreciated!

Another big reason to love this amazing soft synth - major updates are regularly coming from Arturia free of charge and more often than any other vst that I can think of

This video comes just at the right time. I was considering both Pigments and Serum. But with Anthony's testimony and additional content, I might reconsider.

Great stuff - as always!

You're a very impressive and effective communicator. I really appreciate your skill and effort. That's why I'm looking into your course now. I'm SURE it's AT LEAST as great as this video.

I got a great deal on Pigments when it was on sale since I owned an Arturia keyboard. It was an impulse buy since it was so cheap but it quickly became my favorite all in one synth. I will definitely be interested in the course when it becomes available.

I own Serum, PIgments and Phaseplant. Phaseplant has a really great environment but its a bit of a learning curve which I am still learning. With that said, Pigment is a monster for its price and what it comes with. Arturia have it up to 4.0 now which has tons of presets and options. It has a ARP and a seq. built in too. It does take a lot of CPU. I'd pick Phase plant if it wasnt for the support by Arturia.
You cant go wrong with Serum, but it feels outdated compared to both I've mentioned.

Best bang for your buck is Pigments.

The gust of wind I got hit with right at the start I was convinced that this was a sponcered vid.
and then half way through there it was.. selling to class.
I have no issue with this as its true no other synth can do those things and it makes for an amazing experience.
Becasue you never mentioned anything about the sound quality and to be honest we are at eh end of the vid and I am still waiting to hear that its your fave because it sounds so good!
you like how there are no flat spots with filters or the effects..
so sadly I feel like this was just a "blow smoke up Pigmens ass while selling my wears"
:( sadl

Funny when you listed the synths in the beginning and DIDN'T say pigments... I was like, uh oh... ol' trustworthy Anthony is falling behind the times. Turns out he's still at the forefront of the game. Looking forward to this!

This channel and firewalk (he is fl studio) are the two best, straight to the point and well explained production channels on youtube. I work 15 hour security shifts (15 hours of spare time) so i have watched them all!

Falcon. All the way. But Pigments does have a wonderful UI. That's huge. Admittedly I use Falcon mostly for presets due to complexity of UI. Same with Omni. Pigments is definitely a great UI. I love your channel. So much wonderful information. Thank you.

Been using pigments since its launch. Every update they've released has been nearly worth the price of entry each time. Everything I learned about sound design in pigments has helped me understand how to use nearly every other synthesizer I own, including my modular.

I pretty much only use the stock Ableton instruments and Pigments even though I probably have 20 other synths. The interface of Pigments is so nice and it actually has features (step sequencer, granular synthesis) that aren’t as easily done in Ableton.

I did a silly thing when I started taking production more seriously in the last 2 years and got a ton softsynths all at once before really learning synthesis basics; Sylenth1, Massive, Massive X, Serum, Vital, Dune 3 and Pigments. Dune 3 and Pigments have been the most inspiring to me. While Dune 3 certainly isn't the best do it all, it sounds simply amazing! Pigments still intimidates me but I know how capable it is. It does seem a bit more CPU hungry than a lot of the other softsynths though. I'm really looking forward to your course on it!

How processor intensive is Pigments? I haven't tried the program, but your description sure peeked my interest
