My oldest daughter came home from school starving for weeks. This was unusual for her. I was worried she was being bullied out of her lunches. She told me that she was giving her lunch to a hungry girl who never had any. My response was yeah but then you go hungry. She told me this other girl was too poor to have lunch ...or breakfast and supper was usually a PB sandwich if anything. "mom, It don't matter, I can be hungry at school, It's not that long and I know there is supper and snacks at home. I was /am still soooo proud of her. She is all grown and still thoughtful & kind

I was the James in this story. I wore male hand me downs and I never had a decent lunch for school. My friends mom started packing an extra roll of Kimbap for me in her lunch.
They got through highschool. Since then- I LOVE Asian food- especially Korean~ ^w^ me and my friend are BF’s to this day over 12 years later.

thank you for taking care of that boy during the times others struggled, it takes a village to feed a boy and you made sure you were apart of it too, that means something too.

My daughter is a RN. She is an in-home pediatric nurse and takes care of kids with serious medical issues but don't need to be in a hospital. When COVID hit, there was a shortage of supplies for her patients, things like baby wipes and of course, hand sanitizer. When she went to the store, she would always look for the things her patients needed, buy them and give them to the patients. She never asked for reimbursement for the money she spent, she knew some of the parents couldn't afford to and insurance would normally cover the costs from their usual suppliers who were out of the supplies. When she told me about this, I knew I had raised her right.

Wow. You raised a kind, compassionate, loving, thoughtful daughter. Don’t see too many of those anymore.

My 9y/o niece received her Christmas gifts and I complimented a set of earrings she got (those plastic floral ones that have about 9 pairs of earrings) and said “the pink ones are my favorite”. At night we had our secret santa and she stood up and said “I didn’t get your name, but I wanna give you the first gift” and gave me a small box with the earrings. I asked why did she do it because it was her gift and she said “because those were your favorite, it’s not fair I get a bunch and you get none” ❤ I started crying and hugging her. My sister and her husband have done a great job

This beautiful, got a grown man tearing up 🥹. While I wasn't rich growing up, my aunt and uncle that raised NEVER had me or my cousins hungry or wanting of certain things. But this hits home as I've seen other people struggle, some I could help, others I couldn't. It hits home as I always wish more persons were kinder to people less fortunate.

I would have cried if she were my daughter. What a kind and compassionate child you raised. Although I can see by your own actions where she learned it from. The world needs more people like you and your daughter . ❤❤

You probably have no idea the impact you had on that family. Helping someone in genuine need and doing it quietly speaks volumes. That family will never forget this little girls kind actions.

I realised my sister was raised right when I told her that I (13 girl) have a girlfriend (13) and she said “I hope she’s not ugly like you” (normal sibling behaviour) And I said “you are not saying anothing that I’m dating a girl?” And she just said “as long as you are happy and leave me the fuck alone I don’t give a fuck.Love is love so can you leave now?” She’s the best sister I could ever wish for I love her so so so much ❤
