I too have a six inch National Detroit dual action sander, I bought it in the early 70’s ! Other than replacing the pad a couple of times ( and a little air tool oil) every time I use it and it still performs great! This was when there were no Japanese or Chinese tools, just American made tools that last! Great video!

Will the moisture coming out of the compressor be eliminated by the Acetone in the paint??
I have a A a small separator coming out of my tank and one on my gun, I'm concerned that i'm gonna have a problem on my cabinet doors when The paint dries?? Do you have any?

You should try one of those electric DA....polisher sanders. OMG....You will never go back to the ND DA....Better control and just as fast as the ND have the harbor freight one and it sands super fast and excellent control. Even for sanding Bondo. Sands faster and better than the 8 inch Bondo buster. (mine died and I am not replacing it)
