Actually with 600 hours in the game, i forgot this game was so f'ed up for new players lol

The game tends to be a bit disturbing, not the worst part. Also if you put coins in the donation machine you can make the shop better for every next run! The money carries over too so lets say you put in a few cents in one run, you can bomb the machine to get them back (although you lose cash from the machine), also exploding the dudes gives you higher devil deal/angel room chance. If the keepers have a coin in their eyes they can also drop 5 cents.

There’s a mod on steam where it tells you what items are called and what they do. I don’t know what the mod is called cuz I’m on console but that’s all it does, and a lot a lot of people have it installed

There is a mod in the workshop tab for binding of isaac called "item descriptions" its what it sounds like. It shows the items description and what it does along with if its an active item or a passive item or if its a good item or not

jar of flies: an active item that every time you kill a enemy a fly gets added to the jar (stacks to 30) when you use the no charge active item all the flies get released, alright for early game
