Jynx is long overdue for an evolution Like Magmar and electebuzz. Something to make it stronger and give it a design pokemon isn't afraid to show off anymore.

Fun fact! There is (or, at least, was) a sound file found in the files of Pokemon Home that sounds like Jynx's cry but reverberated, just like how mega evolved pokemon sound. So, perhaps, there are still thoughts of implementing a Jynx mega-evolution for Legends ZA. That's only a maybe though, who knows if it was faked or not.

Fun fact: in Japanese version of the banned jynx Christmas episode, jynx is voiced by Mayumi Tanaka. The same Japanese voice actress of Monkey D. Luffy along with Krillen in dragon ball and also voiced volnutt in Japanese for the Mega man legends series.

In the TCG Pocket art, it looks like she is standing outside of the Cerulean City Pokecenter (even has the same house that is next to it) which is the same city where you can trade a Poliwhirl for Jynx.

Vampires, ghosts, mummies, sirens, oni, half the Yokai, orcs, trolls, goblins, ogres, Medusa, and the millions of other monsters that resemble humans: Are we a joke to you?

Seriously, I don't get the anti-humanoid sentiment. They're pocket MONSTERS, not Pocket animals. Heck, in the early games, animals still canonically existed alongside Pokemon. And several Pokemon canonically used to be human.

4:02 the only way to get Jynx in gen 1 was through a trade with an old man in a house next to the pokemon center in cerulean city. I believe thats what we're seeing here

Part of me want this thing to evolve into something gorgeous and elegant like Gardevoir

Another part of me want it to evolve but stay with the similar look as Jynx itself

Another part of me want them to keep that Mega Jynx concept but add two horns on its head like those vikings and adjust its face a bit, like give it eyeshadows and eyelashes or something

I feel like Gamefreak has sort of fixed humanoid Pokemon as having some of them seem to have their "habitat" be cities or prefer to be near cities and man-made structures. Almost like they aren't seen as animals or are accepted as having "human-like behavior". While humanoid Pokemon that DON'T live near cities or towns are more mysterious and have creepy lore to them like Jynx or Froslass. Almost as if they are "outcasts" or "cryptids". Gamefreak obviously knows that they seem out of place just walking around out in the woods so they have at least tried to make it make sense. My only issue with some humanoid Pokemon is when they seem to be wearing clothes. Like, is that fur? is it loose skin or something? hanging flesh?!

Pokemon are monsters, not animals.

The majority of people think Pokemon are supposed to be fantastical and elemental animals, but Game Freak was inspired by old rpg titles such as DnD and Dragon Quest for Pokemon. These old RPGs had anything as a creature, such as Goblins, Mermaids, Mutated Animals etc.

If you think of Pokemon as animals, then Jynx doesn’t make sense in the Pokemon World. However, when you realize that Pokemon are supposed to be monsters, not animals, Jynx makes much more sense. It’s a frost spirit monster that you would likely encounter in a cold mountain that’s under a blizzard. Pokemon is short for “pocket monsters” for Christ’s sake people. Stop thinking of Pokemon as animals!

Something that I’ve always found strange about Jynx is the wierd protrusions from the sides of its dress. It’s not just the 3D model, I’ve noticed them in the sprites and official art too. I just can’t figure out what they’re supposed to be

People just assumed that jynx and Mr popo was based on blackface when that’s not the at all. There’s at least two yokai that jynx is based on. There’s another things that jynx is also based on as well. And Mr popo is actually based on djinn or Buddhist/Hindu Dharmapala deity and not blackface.

I’ve loved Jynx ever since Gen 1. I love its uncanny appearance with its hair casting its face in perpetual shadow, similar to Tangela and Cloyster.

Mega Jynx was too generic.
She needs a proper evolution so she forms a trio with electabuzz and magmar again

I'm looking forward to Jynx evolving one day! Better yet, make its Mega Evolution canon.

I think Jynx should get a proper evolution instead of a Mega Evolution given that Mega forms got removed in Gen 8 and don’t return until Legends ZA. Meaning in games without Mega forms, Jynx would be stuck with its 455 BST which isn’t too good given its Defense stat of 35.

It’s the same reason why I think Sableye and Mawile should’ve gotten regular evolutions instead of Mega forms.
