Koi No Yokan (A Love Letter) - Journey GMV

Scarletzzz was my inspiration for this video and a HUGE help in producing it. She was my partner in recording all of the time scenes and helped me record all the clips you see here.

I couldn't have physically done this with out her - but more importantly, I couldn't have emotionally done this without her. This video is the love story I have felt with her, and she was there to co-make this video.

Once again I tortured myself with after effects. I don't know why.
Not happy with a lot of the transitions, but the GMV was meant to show off the internal sync of the characters more than anything. There are very few GMVs that use mostly gameplay. Cutscenes feel like cheating to me since they're already made to be cinematic. I also wanted the story of the GMV to really match the song, and for me - it achieves that emotionally.

However, any feedback is always welcome. I hope you all enjoy :)

wow, I love this. Journey is one of my favorite games ever, and this really made me nostalgic for it ☺I like how you had the characters' voice sync up with the music, that was a really nice touch <3

Journey has always been a comfort game to me, and I really really love how you made their speaking noises match the music. I've found myself in love with Sky now, it's a direct parallel to Journey and ThatGameCompany truly makes me feel a certain way. Love!
