Another state or another country? Where would you move to be treated best?

I left the US over 20 years ago and I have not regretted it for a second. Life outside of the US is far better than inside of it but it requires you to adapt to your chosen place to relocate to and not for them to adapt to your US ways. Go where you are treated best is the best advice.

Nomad Dad needs his own channel...it's too bad he had to put up with the cultural wasteland of Seattle, by living there briefly (luckily I avoided a similar fate, many years ago)...

Wow, we lived in Spokane for 15 years! Wish I knew you then, we just left in September and sold our house and living in our van for now. We are looking for either a new place to live in the US or going to try Mexico next September for the winter to see if we like living there. If not then on to Ecuador, looking for the treated best place. Thanks Nomad Dad for sharing you life, the place in Mexico is beautiful

I am planning on leaving the US in three years for Colombia. I’m collecting all my assets, finding the best way to move them overseas and hope that the world doesn’t figure out my dollars aren’t worth much. As it stands the USD still has tremendous purchase power but I’m afraid it won’t be that way for long.

Finally!!…Someone states the truth about Phoenix weather!…I lived there for 20 years….and whenever I say to people that it isn’t always a "dry" heat…that there is the monsoon season…that brings floods and high humidity…I get these looks of misbelief…thank you for the validation!❤️🇲🇽

It’s an absolute pleasure to watch and hear you speak in such a common sensical manner. Unfortunately people like you seem to be a rare commodity nowadays. All the best to you!

Smart man. Mexico is where I'm leaning towards. Lol on the immigrants coming into USA. I'm in NY and it's a disc race to how the country is being run. Let alone how worse NY is. It's like I'm living in a totaltarian state. My first move is to Florida RED STATE which I will spend some time there then off to Mexico possibly. My lease is up in 15 months here in NY

I’ve lived in Phoenix for 26 years and he is incredibly off on the weather here. The “monsoon season” is about 3-5 big monsoon storms in a 2-3 month span from June to August. It does not rain everyday and it is not humid at all. It is a dry heat.

I'm in Canada, and dreaming how nice it would be to be in some of the free states in the US, and you guys are already moving out cause its too bad there! Makes me feel like I'm truly a 3rd world refugee, dreaming about fleeing to a 2nd rate place, that the privileged are fleeing from! haha!

Someone please, explain this to me like I'm a 5 year-old ... or a very smart golden retriever. What on earth would make anyone believe that "things will turn around"? Freud observed a century ago that America was a grand experiment but will probably fail as freedom requires personal responsibility and self-restraint which most people do not want. How is America not on the path to an autocratic government as its population increasingly abdicates its adherence to these two values?

What a cool dad. :-) I'm happy I had the opportunity to meet "The Nomad Dad" at the conference earlier this year. Good luck with your own plan, wherever it leads you.

As soon as I'm making decent money online, I'll be doing the digital nomad thing (moving every 3 months) for about 3 years before deciding (where) on longer term stays overseas.
