I see nobody mentioned it but this theory has a huge possibility;

I think that Karen wheeler will play a big role in s5, because we got some spoilers about that like she was in the main characters posters in s4 even though we didn’t see her a lot and her behaviours were too normal compared to other people in town it was like she knew something so I thought that she might be Henry’s sister Alice creel. At the end of s4 when the snow like particles were raining she wasn’t surprised at all also in creel’s house we haven’t seen Alice’s dead body with broken bones or popped eyes it was just lying down on the floor. One more support is that in season 1 when military from Hawkins lab arrived to wheeler’s house Karen wasn’t afraid at all because she knew that eleven was there and she wanted her to get arrested so they could bring back her brother somehow.

Also I'm just praying that Lucas would fight Vecna in one v one (even though I know that won't end very well) in a revenge arc for him.

Caleb said himself he wants Lucas to be in that arc and him acting out in anger will be very entertaining to watch. (Just watch Concrete Cowboy)

Having Max coming out of a coma from the rescue from 11 is more plausible then rescuing Chrissy. Unlike Max, Chrissy has no body to go back to since it's already dead and buried. My theory is that 11 is going to be in trouble and needs help so Will is going to sacrifice himself because he knows that Mike is truly in love with 11. Then a decade has passed by, and we see 11 and Mike are married and have kids.

They will go back in time. I think like how El has telekinesis and Kali can make people see things that aren’t really there, Vecna can in some way control time 1.) there are a lot of “Back to the Future references in the show as a whole.2.) When Nancy gets possessed by Vecna he shows her the FUTURE. (The four gates opening destroying Hawkins before it happens.) He also shows her the grandfather clock.BUT the clock moves COUTERCLOCKWISE 3.) when Nancy Steve Robin and Eddie are in the upside down they go to Nancy’s house for guns. Nancy looks at her diary and realizes that the most recent entry was 3 years ago. Which means the upside down is in the past

My Theories:

1. Max is trappsd inside Vecna's mind.

2. Eddie will come back as Kas.

3. The Show Will End With You Finding Out That It Was A Game Of D&D.

Personally I have multiple theories.
1. I do believe that Vecna has taken Max’s consciousness but I also believe that every person he has taken throughout the course of Stranger Things will also be there and they will somehow find a way, along with Max, to reach out to the rest of the group to help take down Vecna
2. I also think Vecna will probably take over either Max’s body or Will’s body to make it harder for the main characters to take him out. Maybe something about having Max’s consciousness and if they kill him in Max’s body she won’t have a body to come back to. Same thing with Will seeing as he does have the most powerful connection to Vecna

Kali opinions aside, she was obviously meant to form a triad with Eleven and Will.
Eleven - Telekinesis, Kali - Mind Control, Will - Time Manipulation... the sum of 001's powers.

Not saying she will, but she's gotta come back.

i think that vecna will end up taking maxes body and at first pretending he is max, as he has her memorys and abilitys. then max/vecna slowly gets the group to fall into a trap doing what max/vecna wants then later they find out she is vecna and they have to find a way to stop them

i have two theories about kali.
im pretty sure we will see her again, bcs not even mention her after what happened in S2 would be stupid in my opinion. then, i also think that the last one is the perfect season to let a character like kali back.
(i wuold love to see your reaction to these theories!)

the first theory sees kali as a really important member of the group for the final fight. as we know, vecna is the strongest villain in stranger things. he can read mind, control people, make people see things, and his power is too much also for eleven. as we saw, el cant beat him alone. she had to be helped by all the others, and even they were a lot the battle was really hard and they didnt even exactly won. why do not call someone else with superpower? someone who can be an important help to beat vecna? someone like kali. If you think about that, her power is absolutely unique. no one else of the kids lab have it. she can try to create illusions to distract vecna. she can let him think that the others are doing something that they are not actually do, so he wont know their plan and they can attack him when he does not expect it. or maybe she can try to take the control of vecna's mind. el can find people, so for her probably wont be a problem to search for kali.

the second theory is kinda the opposite of the first one, in fact in that one kali is the villain.
like i said before, kali's power is unique. it's easy to think that peter (vecna) was intrigued by her cause of this. maybe he did with kali the exactly thing he did with el. he probably wanted kali to join him bcs he perfecly knew how special her powers were. think about that: he wanted el to join him cause she was the most powerfull kid in the lab. so why shouldnt he wanted kali too? and notice: kali was the only one who escaped from the laboratory. is that just a coincidence? i personally don't think so. peter probably conviced her to join him, as he almost did with el.
then. vecna's victims are persecuted by visions, opened-eyes nightmares. and kali can create visions too. maybe all the visions will, max, chrissy and all the others had were made by kali.
last but not least, lets come back in S2.
vecna really wanted el to join him, but he didnt make it. maybe in S2 kali tried again to take el by vecna's side. maybe bcs he wanted to do revange on el, so he used kali to get el's trust. i mean, he never gave up with el: in S4 he was again asking her to join him. it's easy to think that he tryed other times.

i think these theories make really sense, because as i said S5 will be the last one so obv revelations like these will be in the last season, after all these years without talking about Kali. i think the creators of the show wanted us forget about her just to her her come back when we dont expect it. they also said that in the new season they wont add new characters, but obviusly they will need something new and unespected, and kali is perfect for that!

I think they should kill some main characters not just for 'shock value' but to make the show more realistic it just seems like the main cast of kids are invincible and they are prolly gonna bring max back too.

The first one would also explain why El can’t find Max out there right now. Unfortunately, it does not equate to bringing Chrissy or the others back, as their bodies have also died

In regards to Season 5 being set in winter there’s a problem. While Stranger Things is set in Indiana it was filmed in Georgia, and due to the geographical southern location and warm humid climate the state is known for it doesn’t snow there. During the Christmas and winter scenes in the earlier seasons, they used fake snow on set to make it seem like an Indiana winter. When you also look at the snow closely in the scene you can even tell that it didn’t look wet like snow is, but it looks like soft dry flakes. It was only for a short scene, but filming an entire season taking place in a snowy winter in Georgia wouldn’t be feasible.

I think Max is kept prisoner by a DARK WIZARD in a Dungeon in Vecna's mindlair, with a Dragon guarding it. I get this from the Dragons Lair Arcade game in S2 E1 which coincidentally is titled Mad Max!!!

The party (with Lucas in particular) needing to break in avoiding traps in order to rescue her.
