OptiFine 1.18.2 in MultiMC 5 2022 - Speed Tutorial (Works up to 1.20.1! 2023)

Hey everyone! Today we are looking at how to install OptiFine 1.18.2 in the MultiMC Launcher! I could not find a video online on how to fix this issue so I thought I would make one for you!

I just did it with 1.20.4, so the currently latest version of optifine. Still works like a charm. Thank you so much!

i did it, but i got a bootstraplauncher error, and it wont launch minecraft

Actually, you do not have to launch your world in the official Minecraft Launcher, but good tutorial regardless, Optifine really works finally!

1.20.1 notch folder has a different folder structure, its has net then 3 folders inside of it. So how do we go about this?

3:04 when i attempt to rename it .jar it remains a zip file. unable to change it in properties either..
