A clinician with substance use disorder treatment specialty. Dr. Tohid graduated as a medical doctor and chose mental health and substance use disorder as a domain of his clinical career.
Dr. Tohid has delivered lectures on the subjects of success, motivation, business, sales, and research writing and publishing in different languages to thousands of medical and non-medical students.
The most difficult part of any research article is the critical appraisal of a research article. Some people call it as the quality assessment, or quality appraisal of a research article as well. In this video Dr. Tohid explains how the critical appraisal of an observational study should be done. Dr. Tohid suggests that you should do a separate critical assessment for each kind of observational study. The observational study is divided into three main kinds and out of these the hard studies are the cohort studies and the case control studies.
