So cool. I am a city raised Black older lady who just started doing part time work on a mid-western farm. I loved watching this.

I feel Dr. White’s pain! It’s so hard to get Black students into Agriculture. It’s like farming or simply being outside is so “wrong” for Black students to do. It’s hard being a Black Ag teacher in middle school. We have to get people to stop associating Ag with slavery as Black folk in America. Agriculture will forever be the first career of man.

Born and raised in Arkansas for a lot of adolescent years. Used to hate it cause it was so boring but I miss the nature and the sound of the mosquitoes so bad lol

Im sooo sick and tired of racism and black apalogetics. Im a land management consultant and ive neve met or seen a black farmer. I have however seen 76, 459 blacks liotering around in front of lioquor stores and gas stations.
