Hotel California - Don Felder's First Lead with Tab

This is a clip of me playing Don Felder's first lead from Hotel California with tablature on the screen. You will get this tab in the February edition of my book available now. Details are below on how to get the book.

This is a short video but not a "Short". The backing track is made with a looper. The lead is played slowly and is not an exact transcription of the original or of the live version that Don Felder played in the live concert from 1971.

It is a little simpler but still has many of the elements of the original. I'm tempted to tweak this tab and do an exact transcription of both leads because they are a little different from each other.

This will get you started and you can make the necessary tweaks to get closer to the original as you progress, or you can put your own twist on this lead and make it your own.
