Emad is such an insightful guest. He generously gives his time to anyone willing to spread the message and mission of Stability AI. Kudos also to you for questioning the historic, social, technological and economic implications of the technology.

Thank you for doing the show. This is brilliant. I got a much better understanding of Generative AI and Emad after this.

I have listened to all your episodes. The web3 critical ones were particularly good at teasing out the utility of use cases. This episode is also one of the better high-level interviews with Emad. I do hope you continue with this effort as it goes a little deeper than most of the other VC initiated tech podcasts out there.

So glad this link was shared from Adobe Creative Council and brought me here. Great information. Shared with our company, sharing is growth.

The guy is a doctor, hedge fund manager, AI expert and a millionaire investor. That's next level.

This is one of the most entertaining interviews I’ve heard in years. This guy is a living Mr Mike-Drop - but not just once at the end - about 8 times throughout!!! ❤

Small point, but the hardest thing about PowerPoint presentations isn’t building the slides, it’s working out what you want each slide to say. Not saying AI won’t help, but it gets rid of the low-level design work, not the high-level thinking

The amount of technical complexity involved, bringing together brilliant developers, the financial aspects (both income and the costs) is just astounding.
I wonder if art departments around the world will shut down within 10 years....

Excellent learning. Critique on: voice volume or compression. To hear Amad I put phone to my ear. 8 inches away is needed for listening to host. (Common defect of podcasts but must have improvements)

Question, on minute 38:14 Emad, says, “using tools like…….”
What is the word missing on captions?
Does anyone know if that is the name of an app?

I think the best thing with AI is the fact that it give the average Joe the ability to compete against these massive corporations that have all the resources, for example The Hobbit cost $180 million to produce which means that movies at that quality is reserved for the rich and the same is true for videogames, Cyberpunk 2077 cost about $300 million to produce which again make it a monopoly but now with AI it might actually start to shift and open up a whole new possibilities even for us normal ppl.

Many Thanks! super interesting and sharp interview!! Stability, SD, Deforum, Runway... are creating amazing tools, and they are challenging our society in many ways. But I have some doubts about why increasing productivity means increasing creativity. I have the feeling that it's a kind of capitalist new trap, the best ally of turbo-wild capitalism is the promise of no barriers to maximizing efficiency that promotes AI. And also I think, when we usually talk of AI is about the loss of Jobs, authorship, openness, bias... That is urgent, but there are some other major topics that we are not considering. ie. biological time of learning, I mean, the time needed (as a humans) to have a learning curve to express ourselves in any language; or the banality of creativity (images, sounds, texts...) when "everyone" could create "anything" what will be the purpose of creativity or the sense of value and novelty that creativity has, or what about the new colonialism of this tech, running expensive Google colab Notebooks only affordable for few people and mostly English based. Creativity for Who. I mean what does it mean "open" creativity for "everybody"?
