Bit of correction - Frimley was not Sophie's original hospital. She was due to give birth at Portland. Frimley is where the Ambulance took her - been the nearest hospital to her residence. Louise was taken to Tooting - not St. George's London.

i've always respected that when both children were born, Edward and Sophie made it clear that even though they had the right to be a "Prince and Princess" they both refused and wanted them to forge their own path in life. they are a lady and a viscount, now Earl of Wessex for James. but nothing more.
though Louise's place of birth, wasn't a choice but a lack of options, since she was premature, and it was a cesarean section, which led to blood loss for Duchess Sophie, she was delivered in Frimley, but taken to St Georges Neo Natal for further care, and wasn't reunited with her mother for 2 weeks, since Sophie had to recover
