Border patrol had to show up because the cops wouldn't go in to do their job. That's sad.

Why didn't the police, who were already at the scene, charge the building? Why did they have to call and wait for border patrol???

Border Agent demonstrated more than an act of Valor.

Thank You Del Rio Border Patrol for Paying Your Respects!

Why not give credit to the man who deserves it? “It was not just one individual” Way to undermine the one individual who took action to stop the shooter unlike so many who waited and were distracted instead of saving the young inside

Why isn't he saying it was Jacob Albarado who was getting his haircut at the local barber when he got a text from his wife who is also a teacher there, that there was an active shooter, so he went there with the Barber's shotgun, ran past the cops not doing anything, he found his daughter and helped rescue many classrooms away from the shooter, then he went back in and shot him?

The cop says they have kids inside, so they finally decided to go in. Brilliant. What a genius.

I don't understand why we aren't investing in effective security systems for our schools, but yet our "Commander ln Chief" can send 40 BILLION to Ukraine. Smh.

An off duty border patrol agent went in with someone else’s shotgun to save his daughter and his wife and other kids. He was at the barbers when his wife text him that there was an active shooter and please save me.

I was a USBP Active Shooter instructor, and we did teach the course as a "deadly force" training. No, stop or I'll shoot nonsense. Go in and stop the "active shooting" of people. Unfortunately, when you arrive on scene and another agency is there calling the plays, you do have to stop, and do as you are told, or you could be committing a criminal act. The fact that these agents held back as long as they did, considering some of them had children at that school, is highly commendable. I would have gone in all by myself if I had to. Honor first to the boys and girls at the Uvalde Station and Del Rio and McAllen Sectors. This psychosis our nation is experiencing is not about guns or gun violence, it's about a culture of accepted mental illness and murder. We need to address the serious mental illness issues of our people, first, not the tools they use, because guns don't kill people, people do. Otherwise, kitchen knives will be next to be banned. If our nation didn't have AR15's in every house, China would have invaded us 30 years ago. As soon as Americans give up their guns, what is happening in Ukraine will come here and our so-called "leaders" will be holding the door open to them. By the way, Del Rio Sector Chief Jason Owens is a koksuking, evidence-swallowing kunt.

Apply this to the police force that waited 45 mins+ before subduing the shooter,
Dereliction of duty is deliberate or accidental failure to do what you should do as part of your job.

They applied for that job! Whether you like it or not, you are required to subdue or fight the shooter even if you have to die for it.

I'm a soldier, if my Uncle Sam sends me to combat, then I have no choice but to deploy, if I wait and miss my flight, They will be charging me with AWOL or desertion, or a lesser action like "dereliction of duty"

Recommended corrective training (not a punishment)

Retrain in actual combat in how to survive in an active shooter scenarios, deploy them to be embeded with a Ukrainian unit in Dombas region where active fighting is ongoing and non stop, Expose them to real combat so when they come back, they will become a supercop just like what the US Army did to JrPatatas.(4 times went to combat (3 separate 12 month in Iraq) and 1 in a hazardous location I cannot even mention to my kids/family
